I called Schieter's office yesterday and, as a New Yorker and constituent of senator Scheister, DEMANDED to know why he was not this outspoken when a national security felony was committed by Sandy Berger...the response, we will pass your concerns on to the senator...I also asked why senator schiester has such an interest on outing CIA employees today when he was one of 56 congressmen/women who voted against legislation making it a crime to reveal certain types of CIA agents in 1982...the response...we don't know why he voted against the bill in 1982.

I encourage everyone to pick up the phone and do the same...

I lived in his district for a time. His campaign was to go to senior centers and VA hospitals and say "Vote for me or they'll take your social security!"

And while you are at it, ask Senator Schumer to also demand the resignation of the person who revealed to the public the name of Fulton Armstrong, another CIA agent, recently..

It happnened on the floor of the Senate, - the culprit was John Kerry.

Its funny to see someone who's been against protecting CIA operatives all his life now express concern for their welfare. Chuck Schumer is the kind of politician you want when principle is your least concern. Perhaps its just as well he teamed up with a liar in front of the TV cameras. It has a measure of poetic justice to it.
