Joe Wilson is evidence that the power that the MSM wields is still massive.

What is evidence is the mass media and democrats no longer yield the "power" and as soon as the Republicans understand this, the better off this country will be.

The only thing that can stop the media is us. I am hoping that the ranks of people who demand the truth are growing, and someday we will turn the tide. That is all we can do.

Yes, the sword that MSM wields is indeed massive, but not for long, I hope. That is the whole purpose of this jihad against Karl Rove, to force the Whitehouse to shut down the investigation into the Plame affair.
The NYT, the WA PO and thirty some other major newspaper filed papers with the court, asking that the investigation be shut down because it was apparent that no law was broken. When their request was turned down, the NYT issued a fatwah against Karl Rove, with purely unsubstantiated accusations that the NYT knows are false. Why, you may ask would a major news paper print obviously false information? The answer is that they are fighting for their lives. They have a major scandal on their hands that will bring down the NYT to the level of the National Enquirer.
Just as the paper was getting over the Jayson Blair embarrassment, another of their reporters became embroiled in a scandal involving a leak from the CIA and a tip to a terrorist supporting Muslim organization that allowed them to flee and shred all documents, hours before a raid by the HSA. Now, it turns out that this same reporter has been talking to a target of the investigation in another issue, involving leaks from the CIA, the Valerie Plame case.
The prosecutor has stated that he is interested in talking to Miller (Cooper as well) about conversations that she had with the source on subjects other than Plame's identity. So, if Miller talked to the Grand Jury, she might be potentially forced to claim self incrimination for obstruction of justice. It is no coincidence that the same prosecutor was appointed to investigate both cases.
