I could see her as the leaker, but to Novak, not to Scooter Libby or Rove... because then how could Novak have found out if he told Rove?

She was already a "WMD reporter" for the NYT or whatever, right? So its definitely possible that she knew about Plame and Wilson, especially since Wilson wrote the op-ed for her paper. (Wilson the original leaker??) Then she told Novak and he told Rove. And Rove mentioned it to Matt Cooper? Just a possibility in my mind... I don't get the whole Scooter Libby connection.

Now you're getting warm! Yes, Judith Miller spent a long time in Iraq at the end of the war desperately trying to prove what SHE always believed -- that Saddam had WMD's, even filed and retracted a story in the process which proved embarassing because it was one of those Fox News Alerts ....

Anyway, no doubt she and Wilson had more than one discussion over this subject, he was already hacking against the Bush Administration with the upcoming election and all... she mysteriously quit appearing on all the cable news shows..... and then this Plame affair started.

I really believe she found out from Wilson -- or knew Wilson -- who his wife is/was and probably told Novak (since they often appeared on the same network -- CNN).. Novak called Rove and told Rove who already knew when he spoke to Cooper...

This is my theory at least.
