Assuming that this conversation ever did take place, (and if Eason Jordan corroberates it, it must be true!) it becomes obvious that to Novak "works for CIA" "wmd specialist" does not in any way convey "covert."
There must be tens of thousands of people who work for the CIA and live around the beltway.
