I find it very annoying that the word "partner" has been co-opted to mean 'gay lover'.
When I first saw the headline, I though it was about 2 cops.
Weren't Friday and Gannon 'partners' on Dragnet?

IMO it's PC in action; if he had been straight and run over his wife he'd be looking at 20-to-life!

Since a member of an Endangered Minority has been murdered why wasn't it prosecuted as a hate crime?

Paul allegedly began doing "doughnuts" and eventually hit Robertson, who died at the scene.

Ah, since "doughnuts" were involved, his lawyer may have used the "twinkie" defense.
