Let me guess. The democrats are going to claim their is a cover up. Then call on the President to halt Judaical nominations until to is cleared up. Shortly after that they are going to start impeachment proceedings. All in order to stop the President from nominating conservative judges.

That's a damned good guess. Those two magic little words. They are gunning for Bush and Rove and anyone close.

Here's a thought. President Bush could make recess appointments to the SCOTUS. Been done before.

Under the Constitution's so-called "Recess Appointments Clause" (Article II, Section 2), the president has the power to temporarily fill any official "vacancy" without approval of the Senate when Congress is not in session. Anyone so appointed sits in office until the Senate votes on their confirmation—or until the Senate's next session expires.

That special power has been construed by many presidents to extend to vacancies in the Supreme Court. The first recess appointment to the court occurred in 1795 when President Washington appointed John Rutledge chief justice while the Senate was in recess. Since then, 11 Supreme Court justices have been put on the bench in the same way—including Chief Justice Earl Warren, who was appointed by President Eisenhower in 1953.

Shortly after that they are going to start impeachment proceedings.

I've been saying for about eight months now that I have been expecting impeachment proceedings to be brought against President Bush over *something.* Odds are, the RINOs will go along with it in the House. I just hope we don't have 22 Senators out of 55 who are so desparate to suck up to the MSM that they will throw the President under the bus, but, I've been wrong before.

I will buy that. And also that we should stop the War on Terror until this all can be straightened out. This is necessary because the Rove "leak" threatens national security, don't you know. And how can we fight a war when our CIA agents are so endangered.
