You know seeing Chuck Hagel tied up with these business dealings in the middle east with Joe Wilson and crew makes me wonder.
If maybe the roots of Hagel's failure to support Bolton isn't buried in the oil for food acandal?
If Chuckie Hagel is on the intel committee....you may be on to something there. I can't recall if he is or not.

Well, he has reposted it now....as a RED LETTER headline (but no flashing light). Could be that this is why Judith decided to serve jail time; she had to wait for Cooper to testify so he could relay to her what kind of questions he was asked...this way they have time to coordinate a response from the NYTimes. This whole story has gone beyond the absurd...into the twilight zone.
The Times ship is sinking, and their story is about rearranging the deck chairs.

I believe that he was worse than that. I read that the falsified documents that Wilson claimed to have seen, but couldn't have because they came out after his trip, were supposedly forged by the French, who manage the Niger yellowcake operation and were trying to throw off the British who were reporting that Saddam was trying to buy yellowcake. Wilson's exwife worked at the French embassy in Burundi and provided Wilson with lot's of French ties.
