Army Regulation 15-6: Final Report

Investigation into FBI Allegations of Detainee Abuse at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba Detention Facility

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Detention and interrogation operations at Joint Task Force Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO) cover a three-year period and over 24,000 interrogations. This AR 15-6 investigation found only three interrogation acts in violation of interrogation techniques authorized by Army Field Manual 34-52 and DoD guidance. The AR 15-6 also found that the Commander of JTF-GTMO failed to monitor the interrogation of one high value detainee in late 2002. The AR 15-6 found that the interrogation of this same high value detainee resulted in degrading and abusive treatment but did not rise to the level of being inhumane treatment. Finally, the AR 15-6 found that the communication of a threat to another high value detainee was in violation of SECDEF guidance and the UCMJ. The AR 15-6 found no evidence of torture or inhumane treatment at JTF-GTMO.

The Media is the pusillanimous purveyors of political porn.

They can't handle the truth and neither can the LEFT!

Be we know the truth and can handle it easily.

The regulator valve on the compressor used in interrogations is not to be set above 25psi pressure.

As far as I'm concerned when there is reason to believe those terrorists have information about plots to kill innocent people, we haven't been nearly rough enough.

I've always wondered, just who's side is the FBI on in the War on Terror?

This is an organization that was protecting the Winter Hill's Mob boss Whitey Bulger while he murdered and mayhemmed his way across New England and was #1 on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list until he was unseated by bin laden.

This is an organization who knowingly allowed innocent men to go to prison for more than twenty years to protect their Winter Hill Mob secrets.

It's also an organization who turned on one of their own, John O'Neil, the one person in this country who had actually "connected all the dots" and was pushed into retirement because of his good deed. The irony is that John eventually became head of the WTC's security after he was retired and ended up going down with the building that he expected to be attacked by Osama bin Laden.

It's also the organization that wouldn't allow field agents to search the computer of a terrorist suspect.

And now, now, they want to complain about Gitmo?

What a scary organization.

It's a couple of incidents the FBI reports on that can't be supported with any other source of evidence. This stuff was written up by a specific agent. Don't see why that agent can't be subjected to some serious investigation to see what the motive was.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to find this is the agent who did so much to thwart the investigation of the Anthrax Attack.
