GEORGIA area FREEPER ALERT!
On Thursday, July 21, 2005, the office of Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) is hosting book readings and a panel discussion on the subject of the 9/11 attacks featuring two leading researchers and academics; this for the benefit of Members of Congress and their staffs. Members of the press are encouraged to attend as ample time will be set aside for Q&A. The event will be held in room HC-6 in the Capitol Building from 2PM - 5PM. (space is limited)
One year after the release of the 9/11 Commission Final Report many questions about what transpired on September 11, 2001 and who should be held accountable still remain unanswered. Serious flaws and omissions in the Report have been addressed by whistleblowers and academics. Two of the better-known and respected academic researchers, Nafeez M. Admed, author of the recently released The War on Truth: 9/11, Disinformation and the Anatomy of Terrorism, and Paul Thompson, whose book The Terror Timeline was adopted by Richard Clarke for his recent Harvard course, will be featured presenters on Capitol Hill Thursday on the eve of the 1 year anniversary of the 9/11 Report, whose credibility and accuracy is increasingly in doubt.
Regarding Nafeez M. Ahmed...
Noted historian Gore Vidal has noted that, "on the subject of 'How and Why America was Attacked on 11 September, 2001,' the best, most balanced report, thus far, is by Nafeez Mosaddeq Ahmed..." In his review, Journalist John Pilger said, "Everyone should read this wise and powerfully illuminating book."
Regarding Paul Thompson...
Of Paul Thomspon's The Terror Timeline, author and journalist James Ridegway wrote, "After years of self-serving reports by ineffectual politicians in Washington, there is at last an independent report, based entirely on publicly known facts, that is thorough and reliable. Read it and decide for yourself whether there
was a cover-up."
Both Thompson and Ahmed are also taking part in an all day briefing on the Hill in the Caucus room of Cannon on Friday, a event co-sponsored by Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) and Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ).

what's seriously flawed is Cynthia McKinney. That she got voted back into office is beyond me. She's an embarrassment to Georgia.
