I won't say what I do for a living, but it involves sociopaths (and even some people outside my family).
But I will say this...this island, Aruba, creates an environment for hiding the truth. It is well-known as being parasitic. It encourages old and young to bury the truth.
Since truth is the antidote to sociopathology (a dead conscience)...this island promotes sociopathology.
Oh, and the young are the first victims of "the disorder of the dead conscience."
But, hold that thought, the doorbell is ringing and it's probably more chicks (or lint or cats or, God forbid, family).
Well, since everyone is confessing,,I am a Dude Magnet. They sort of fall all over me, bring me flowers and candy, take me to dinner, give me jewelry.
I am cultured, speak five languages, drive a Benz, red, convertible. I have a PHD in Comparative lit, play the violin in the local symphony and occasionally play my sax in blues bands in New Orleans. My family is really loaded.

DS, I bought a bottle of than new Tag deodorant, applied it and went to the mall in Pensacola, Florida. When I walked in the mall women started rushing from all the department stores in pusuit of me.
Luckly I had my cell phone and dialed 911-chick-magnet suppression squad. They arrived in about 10 seconds and saved me from the onslaught.
I am presently hunkering down in my survival bunker hoping to make it through the night. I was thinking of possibly making a movie called, "Chicks at the Gate."
I am presently working on a chick-magnet survival guide for all those magnets coming to a store near all you Freepers.
If the blast doors start to give, I will call in the Mothership to evac my soda cracker ass out of here.
Damn!! being a chick-magnet is synonomous with living on the edge.

LOL! Well, only one of my sons is a chick-magnet. The others are more the pasty-white, slightly nerdy type, if that makes anybody happier (it does me -- less to worry about).

I'm no expert on sociopathy, though I have read some books about it. But my BS-detector goes up when I hear people labeling someone a sociopath on such thin evidence.
And I object to the pathologizing of everyday life. Calling typical teenaged male behavior (a little shoving, a little kicking of younger brothers, partying and playing poker five nights a week, occasional lying, sneaking out, etc.) "sociopathic," or evidence of a "dead conscience" is going too far, IMO. (I'm not saying you've done that, but I think some here are cobbling these things together with sinister gossip, and coming up with sociopathy.)
To me, that's like labeling every normal little boy who can't sit still in a boring classroom as suffering from "Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder."

This may be true. I don't know. But part of the problem is that the Dutch system of justice is so secretive, at least while the investigation is ongoing. Supposedly the Arubans like it that way, and that is their right, I suppose.
