Ok what about my Sig P220....45ACP?
1. To set up an alibi
OR
2. Because Deepak was on standby to pick him and Natalee up from the beach. Because Natalee was dead, Joran didn't want Deepak to pick him up.
While I hope Jug's right, I doubt it. Yet we all remember the recovery of a very alive Elizabeth Smart. How many believed in THAT outcome? We pray and hope and we wait.
About the only place I can think of that one might hit their head and drown would be the natural pool, which is relatively close to the area where the sharks are and to Arikok Park.
I can't either, but I also can't see a Bible study girl going to C&C's. The people I went to school with that were in Bible study wouldn't have gone to C&C's, especially if they had been warned in advance what the place was like. They would have stayed at the pool or in their room first.
aha the bruising was reported on SM some days ago,,I didn'tput any credence in it thinking The Holloway/Twittys would have noted in when they saw him the day they came. But maybe it is true.
Rumor on the island according to SM is that Paulus is a wife batterer. Maybe a son batterer too? After the Holloway/twittys left that night. Maybe a row?
What would taking the kids to the woodshed contribute to anything here?
Natalee is dead whether she drank or didn't, whether she was a party girl or wasn't, whether she took x or didn't , whether she went willingly for sex or didn't.
I am not understanding why the focus is on this. If everyone's worst {or most delightful} fantasy is that she was a drinker, taking drugs, left with Joran willingly to have a threesome on the beach,,,what the heck is the difference?
Does that mean she deserves to be dead ? Or that we are less interested in Justice?
And another thing as long as I am getting this off my chest.
A reputation is earned over years of good behavior. Natalee was a good student, a good friend, a loved daughter, said to be kind and decent, didn't take drugs, went to Church, was naive about men, did all the activities that reflect well on girls, volunteered to help with autistic children, was in the honor society.
She had an impeccable reputation that she spent her life earning.
And I detest the tendency to try to speculate and wreck it. It just fries me. It is not decent or fair or kind. It is just plain ole hateful.
I know that.
But others here just love to insinuate any ole thing they can. It is as if some, not malichi, would wipe dirt on the corpse of a decent girl who never seemed to hurt anyone and was only guilty of being beautiful, smart and loved.
Yall know who the posters are who do this.
I suspect those kids are not going to say in public if what is speculated is the truth. They have been interviewed by the FBI.
Why should the public have any right to know their secrets? It doesn't help this case. It is only for our speculation.
And these are kids. If they made mistakes, they will live and deal with them. Why the need for all of that to be in the public domain. They have enough on their plates not to need to have the censoriousness of the public.
Interesting info emerging about the Sloots. This from SM. Native Lingo is Aruban I do believe.

What is the disturbing info regarding his mental health? Please share.
One of my daughters (11 yr old) is having a hard time dealing with puberty...mood-swings...things like that. After waiting for 3 months for an appointment, yesterday she finally had to go get some tests done by a child psychologist. This psychologist works at the office of a pediatric psychiatrist. Went I went to pick her up, I had to wait for a little while, and engaged in conversation with the receptionist (who by the way is the person who takes all the info during the initial visit). She had the radio on(news on Natalee off course) and we started talking about the case. To make a long story short, at one point she said: "that poor family" "that poor kid"...."he has so many problems"....I didn't want to ask her flat out if he was/has been a patient there, but I did tell her that I had heard that he was treated for anger management and I also told her of hearing about the story about him killing his dog......
Her reply was....."Yeah I know....but that's nothing compared to his real problems....I know him very well....he has major problems.....and his family has suffered so much....."
And that's when I think I must have looked exactly like my avatar.......
She never mentioned that he was a patient, but I think it was pretty obvious.....
I still think that any of us would be mortified if some of our actions were put under the microscope. I realize there actually *are* perfect people out there. I mean just look at this list, couple of people are certainly self righteous at any rate. But I really think this was the wrong place, VERY wrong time in this case. Whether the "bible study young lady" should or should not have gone to C&C is not the point. The point is she should have been able to leave there unharmed.
I went to a Christian High School in the San Diego area - when my friends and I reminisce about the last 18 years or so, we're all surprised we've made it through life relatively unscathed. But I'm sure glad the mistakes that have been made can for the most part be laughed about--even if embarassing--and that we didn't pay the ultimate price for saying hi to the wrong guy.

mama and papa even moved him into the apartment thingie to keep him from abusing his younger brother.... hmmmm
Just how bad was Joran's temper? I did hear his parents moved him to an apartment on the family's property because of the abuse with his younger sibling. His mother spoke of the fights with his brother, I wonder if he was physically abusive as well as verbally?
Heck, he probably abused papa and mama tooo!!! I think it was referring to physical abuse... and another story said he had been known to knock a guy through a plate glass window.. He has been treated for his outlandish temper, professionally!!

Whoa, and yet they let him roam the island and casinos and bars at night, thinking "At least if he abuses someone, it won't be our other son"? Good L-rd. How dare that father keep protecting his sociopath son? Admit it and let him take his punishment like a criminal deserves.
Right.
some here love to make little ugly remarks and speculations about what seem to me to be decent kids.
They seem more interested in picking the bones of Nat and her friends than discussing the guy who probably killed her.
Joran and Daddy are two peas in a pod.
Agreed--that was actually the post I was thinking of when I responded to you.
