Yep, if - or maybe I should say when - the sh*t hits the fan with China we are going to have a lot of internal sabotage. We've got a lot of tech people from the PRC working with critical systems and data in U.S. that are intensely nationalistic to the PRC and habor an underlying resentment or even hatred of the U.S. I have seen up close how things can be compromised and how easy it is to do so.
I am, dammit.
Personally I think one of two things needs to happen. Either:
1) US corporations realize the threat on our own - for example, based on the business continuity plans that our insurers and investors all now insist on in order to continue coverage - and crack down on our own accord, or
2) A joint task force of the DHS, DoC and DoD will have to do it for us.
