Who knows what will happen, but it looks tonight as if Emilyhwill either shoot the Yucatan Channel or cross Mexico somewhere near Cozumel.

Either way it could re-emerge in the western Gulf and I have no idea what the steering patterns then might be. Anywhere from Mexico to Lousiana. We'll know far better in three or four days.

Just found out my daughters, husband and granddaughters are moving to Orlando. Hope they do alright. This parting stuff with the kids leaves something to be desired. But we had fun with them and enjoy their company but wish they were still here. Hurricane threads will have a whole new meaning now.
