Oh Yea! The tuna/cheese/peas/marshmallow hotdish was the best! (With Miracle Whip as topper.)

And meanwhile some poor guy is trying to remember where in the airport he left the package of fish that he caught on his Minnesota fishing trip.

Here is the Key Sentence,

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Humphrey Terminal at the Minneapolis/St. Paul Airport has been evacuated. Two bomb-sniffing dogs apparently sat down next to two different vending machines in different parts of the building.

What, you from Iowa or something, buddy? You left out the macaroni and the Chef Boyardee meatballs.

Lutefisk?

Codfish soaked in Liquid Plumber!!

Norwegian delicacy eaten around Thanksgiving & Christmas

And it STOPPED at this generation.

That stuff will tarnish a silver spoon almost instantly & smells like a boiled sock stuffed with dead hamsters.

UPDATE:

Last update: July 13, 2005 at 9:53 PM
Bomb squad called to Humphrey terminal
Dan Wascoe, Matt McKinney and Terry Collins, Star Tribune
July 14, 2005

Police dogs trained to detect explosives apparently sniffed a suspicious odor at two airport vending machines Wednesday night, triggering the removal of about 200 passengers and employees from the Humphrey terminal.

Airport police summoned the Bloomington bomb squad shortly after 6:30 p.m. to check a soft drink machine and an automated teller machine on the ground level near the baggage claim area and in the center of the terminal.

During the search, which continued until at least 9 p.m., those forced out waited across the street in a parking ramp in temperatures near 90 degrees.

By midevening, a forklift was driven to the terminal to remove the machines, airport authorities said. Some passengers at Sun Country's hangar were taken by bus to the Lindbergh terminal between 8:15 and 8:30. They were on an incoming flight from Anchorage, Alaska.

Jim Welna, who heads the federal Transportation Security Administration force at the airport, said he could not recall a previous evacuation of either terminal under similar circumstances. Welna said that in light of last week's bombings in London, airport security officials are reacting with great caution.

Even two hours after the evacuation, reports were unclear about what caused the dogs to react. One report was that an unidentified piece of luggage had been found to have residue that attracted the bomb-sniffing dogs.

But Patrick Hogan, spokesman for the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), said police had narrowed their investigation to the two vending machines. He speculated that a child who might have handled fireworks and touched the machines could have left traces that caught the dogs' attention.

The Humphrey terminal is the smaller of the two at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and handles mostly charter flights as well as some scheduled flights operated by Sun Country.

Hogan said no operations at the larger Lindbergh terminal were disrupted during the evacuation. But planes were pushed back from the gates at the Humphrey terminal, and vehicular traffic was restricted during the search.

Hogan said MAC police have six trained dogs and handlers who routinely patrol airport property. The dogs are taught to sit when they smell an odor linked to specific explosives. Police grew concerned when two dogs sat at two machines in the Humphrey about 6:30 p.m.

About 6:45 p.m., police summoned a technician for the company that services the machines.

Hogan said dogs sometimes react as though explosives are present when they are not.

Police in England widened their hunt Wednesday for someone they suspect may have helped plan those terror attacks last week. They were studying closed-circuit TV footage and evidence from the blast sites. They also searched for evidence in Leeds, where three of the four bombing suspects lived.

While waiting in a car at 34th Avenue S., where sheriff's deputies were turning people away, Stephanie Mehlenbecher said she just wanted to get home to Washington state. "Is it a real bomb?" she asked. Mehlenbecher had been visiting her father, w ho lives in Lewiston, Minn. "How do we find out when we can go in?" asked her aunt, Valerie Clark.

Two other travelers were dropped off by their friends and were waiting for the all-clear from authorities to enter the airport. "It's just waiting and waiting," said Zahi Haidari of Minneapolis, who was flying to Los Angeles. "This is my first time going down there, and I'm excited," said Haidari. "When I called and told my friends what is going on, they screamed."

Every year my Lutheran Church in Madison, WI would have a Lutefisk and Lefsa dinner. For two weeks thereafter we skipped church until it aired out!
