I haven't as yet heard what you describe. I still maintain he has a great show. He calls "W" to task for being a faux conservative. For that I am grateful because the President is becoming the Republican party's answer to Jimmy Carter.

Savage (IMHO) is not a conservative, at least not as a noun. He's and adjectival conservative, i.e. conservative populist. Not to mention conservative demagogue and conservative idiot. Same as egO'Reilly.
Added to that Savage is just plain lazy. He doesn't seem to think it's worth his trouble to do basic research and show prep. I can't believe you listen to him regularly and haven't noticed that he is often, even typically, unware of basic facts regarding the subjects he covers.
