Terror and "eloquent speech" is what we are seeing and hearing. There is plenty of terrorism in the Koran. Muslims follow Muhammads example. That's the core belief of Muslims. Qur’an 33:26 “Allah made the Jews leave their homes by terrorizing them so that you killed some and made many captive. And He made you inherit their lands, their homes, and their wealth. He gave you a country you had not traversed before.”

Lord of the demons is right. It doesn't matter where a devote muslim is born. "tis Allah, not man they seek to please".
Besides being British , They all just by chance , happen to be Muslims , imagine that .

I don't see how Mr. Clarke could be shocked, the signs were out there all alone. I am not even British and I expected something like this was going to happen, Just as I suspect there will be another attack from within the US, by American Muslims.
They weren't "British." That's the point. They GREW UP in Britain, but were full-fledged Islamofascists. People better figure this out, and quick.
Muslims are citizens of Islam, not of the country they are born in or naturalize to! We need to understand this and deal with them accordingly!
I'm afraid you are being terribly literal. If you have ever seen a loved-one die of Cancer or old-age you can see them dying but when it actually happens it is still a shock.
The UK and the US will be attacked again, we all know it, but it will still be a shock when it happens.

The reason I said that is many American on here are being all smug and patronising. "Those Brits are crazy they should tell those muslims to ..." and YET your President after 9/11 said: "Islam is Peace" Get your own house in order first. :)
I am adding to your comments. What is this 'confront' business? Is that all the brits have to do is 'confront'? Then what? Does that imply that they have NOT been confronting?
To me it is a bunch of blather. What good is confronting a suicide bomber and that ilk. Wish that was the answer...also...how does one 'confront' a pack of savages hell bent on killing innocents? Come on... 'Great Britain' can do better than that.
I was listening to a talk show yesterday. These people just don't get it. They think we need to make these people feel more welcome, help them "adjust" to western living better.
They think that they turn to "extremism" because they feel alienated. If you saw someone driving a black Ford F250 cursing and swearing down the I75, that was me.
They "grew up in Britian", a fact which has absolutely nothing to do with the task at hand. They were full fledged Muslim having been taught from birth who and what they were, anything but British.
Fortunately, we were on separate interstates! :-)
They have an insurgency on their hands or at least one in its beginning.

Citizenship aside, they weren't "British."
That's a mental hurdle people are going to have to overcome to fight this war.
The Muslim community needs to be removed.
Otherwise it will continue to grow increasingly deadly like a cancer.
