NEW YORK — This summer, hide your bridesmaids.

So warns the promo for this weekend's new movie, "Wedding Crashers", which is about a couple of bachelors who show up at weddings uninvited to prey on lonely bridesmaids and especially desperate female guests.

The movie cashes in on two common stereotypes about weddings: that women hate attending nuptials alone, and that men, realizing how vulnerable weddings make single women feel, use the occasions to their advantage.

But how are true are these generalizations?

What is the matter nopardons, you can't take it when somebody stands up to all your rants and raves! You expects me to back down, like all the others? Well, you are dead wrong. I will not! You are a snobbish, snarling, little miss know-it-all who demands to have their way. You demand to be heard and your opinion respected, no matter what! You think you are never wrong! Am I right?.
But your problem is you find you have to go down to the gutter to attack me and the others with all your demeaning attacks, using words that are meant to cut, dice, and slice, when we do not agree with you. You cannot admit you are in the wrong, and since you cannot do that, your objective is to throw out all kinds of demeaning adjectives to attack the character of others. This makes you feel superior and definitely in the right, especially since you were able to flame-throw a couple of demeaning words at the other person. Wow, you really scored, huh? Unfortunately because of this forum's rules, your vocabulary is limited, because you cannot curse to help you get your points across. I am sure you are sorry about that? It is really making you think on what to say. That is taxing your brain and it hurts.
But the real TRUTH is, YOU are HURTING inside because of your BITTERNESS. You are bitter, so to try and make yourself feel better, you attack others with your bitterness. Unfortunately, it does not make you feel better. I guess your way of thinking is to attack others to make them feel lousy, so then they can share your feelings. That is what makes you you feel superior, to control the feelings of others. So the faster you deal with that bitterness, and get rid of it, the happier you and others around you will be.

PS: A little free help, when you find you are running out of demeaning character assassination adjectives, get a dictionary of synonyms out to help you, so you don't repeat the same words over and over again. It will improve your IQ and character.

Laughing about your problems does not solve them. You remind of someone I knew that EVERY time they got into trouble, or did something wrong, their response was to laugh it off. They never could be serious, nor see the seriousness of their trouble. To see them laughing it off, showed everyone, their immaturity and insecurity. That was their way of being defensive. Very sad to see.
Others, like you, use words to attack others, no matter the consequences. This, too, is sad. It makes it difficult for lasting friendships and long-loving relationships.

Well your laughing off what I and others have written, your attacking us with your demeaning character assassinations, proves to me you do not understand. You think everything is a game and as long as you feel like you stood your ground either by laughing it all off, or by flame-throwing demeaning words, you think you are in the right and have won your point. Well let me tell you, you could not be further from the truth. And the sooner you understand that, the better it will be for you. Go back and read some of your posts from the past few days, and tell me, did you really need to write some of the things you wrote? You are writing things that alienate others from you. You can disagree, but why do you feel you need to demean others? You attack the character of others, so that puts them against you right away. You can disagree about a particular point, but to carry it further and demean someone causes all kinds of problems. And one problem is you start to think that is the only way you can win on your opinion, which is far from the truth. There are many ways to express your opinion without rankling the ire of other people. This makes for good friendships and relationships, which we all need and cherish.
Listen, there is a classic bestselling book I read many years ago that helped me and I recommend it for you to read. 'How to Win Friends & Influence People' by Dale Carnegie. It is never out of print, that is how good and timeless it is. Many large corporations require it to be read by their management personnel. I appreciated the truths I read in that book as I applied them in my life. Perhaps it would be the same for you.

What have I lost against someone who rants and raves because they can't have their way? You are in the wrong and you are so blind.
Why do suppose so many took issues with what you wrote to them? Do you really believe you are right in all that you wrote, both in arguing your points and your demeaning attacks? Then why were so many people writing things against you?
You really seem to enjoy that, don't you? Is that what you live for, to cause animosity with others? If so, you are miserable in your thinking. But then again, that has already been proven many times before!
