Yes..... I saw that one guy's web sight claiming that Washington's vision was a hoax ( a pretty accurate hoax, if it is a hoax ) but, in my gut, I feel that George Washington truly had this vision.
Even if this idiot wants to write this off as a hoax, from what the vision states, has come true.
If this guys say that Washington was not religious, then ? how does he account for that famous painting of Washington ? I am sure George Washington didn't use this as a photo opportunity.
Perhaps ?
This idiot does not know Washington's personal history very well, OR ? perhaps ?
This guy has a political agenda to promote and to prove that this vision never really happen.
Can anyone of us come up with reasons why a certain person ? or persons ? or groups might want to count this " Washington's Vision " as a hoax ?
Like for example ?

The liberals, the Democrats, the MSM, Communist, Feminist, Homosexuals, all of those " ANTI-America " haters for one thing, those groups who want to discount or discredit the fact that this nation was founded on Christian Principles and was founded as a Christian nation.

I remember not long after 9/11, G.Gordon Liddy spoke of some trucks crossing the Mexican border. He said they reportedly had nukes on them. I wish I could remember the details of what he said but it's been almost 4 years now.

I know I kept waiting for something, anything, in the news but nothing more was said. Not in the news and not by Liddy. I've wondered ever since if this was just something that turned out not to be true or if it was and it was hushed up. Liddy never mentioned it again at all, that I know of.

I've never forgotten the report and never stopped wondering where those trucks went, if it was true.
Seeing something like this makes me wonder all the more.

Per the articles I've read, ALL four bombers were Pakistanis, which means that ALL FOUR OF THEM WERE CAUCASIONS.

Are you at all cognizant of what it takes to maintain nukes?

One has to really wonder just how many Islamic gunmen have already entered American soil via Mexico or Canada, and how many more Muslim terrorists are on the way, since our own government has not taken a war footing position on the defense of our borders?

Simply stating what I heard.

We know they want them, have been trying to aquire them, may well have gotten their hands on something.

We also know not just anyone can maintain them. But somehow I don't figure they understand that, or they may not care.

And if they did bring something into the country, it would be darned nice to know where they are. :-)

Maybe he does, but he is one of the very few who has the balls to take a stand against wide open borders, unlike our President congress and senate.

OOOHHH gotta kiss up to the mexicans and other south and central latinos sneaking into the country whose offspring most certainly will vote dimocrat.
Gotta keep the supply of cheep labour for our employers.

You must be one of those vigilantes President Bush was talking about. Why can't you leave those innocent law breaking illegal immigrants alone!

If they had them, they would have used them by now, IMO.

For some time I've argued on the History network board (H-CONSERV) that all of this---terrorism, judicial activism, and illegal immigration will be tied together in the next attack. Either some judge is going to hamper the border service further for violating some illegal's "civil rights," or some judge is going to release a terrorist, but I fear that the next attack, which will be a biggie, will come from terrorists snuck across the Mexican border and it will ultimately tie into judicial activism.

Nietsche may be right: if it doesn't kill us, the backlash against both judicial activism, the MSM, and illegal immigration will completely sink the Dems, and probably take down a lot of Republicans, too. Bush, likely, will not be affected, but someone like Tancredo will be elevated to the "Prophet" status.

JMO, islamic terrorists can blend in much easier in Canada, where they have large communites(ala the UK) and a govt. that is so PC, they won't do anything about it.

That's what gets lost in these debates on FR, the large well establshed islamic extremeist communites in the country to the north of the US shares a 3,000 mile border with.

But to most Americans, Arab-types "look" hispanic. (Remember Jose Padilla? And how early OK City witnesses reported an "Arab" or "Middle Eastern" man who looked just like him?)

But the net result of such a scenario would be the same, for BOTH borders. It would result in a new immigration policy---probably overly restrictive, but that's life.

Garbage? I hope that it is, but the former Soviet Union had knowledge of our numbers of tactical nuke arty and responded in like numbers. Where all those arty shells are now is anyone's guess. I hope there is some documentation from Russia as to there whereabouts, and that Tancredo can - with reasonable assurance - can put this to rest.

For info on nuke arty, see this link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_artillery

"Only one type of artillery round other than the W-48 was produced in large numbers, the W-33 for use in a 203 mm shell. Around 2,000 warheads of this type were manufactured from 1957-65, each 940 mm long and weighing around 109 kg. They were fitted in the T-317 AFAP and fired from a specialised howitzer. The warhead yield was greater than the W-48 and it was made in four types, three yielding 5 to 10 kt and one 40 kt.

In 1991 the US unilaterally withdrew its nuclear artillery shells from service, and Russia responded in kind in 1992. The US removed around 1,300 nuclear shells from Europe and reportedly dismantled its last shells by 2003."

An 8" x 36", 250# shell that can yeild a 10kt blast could easily be smuggled into the US by container, truck, or automobile.

Your right on one aspect Dane, but you miss another. Sure, we need equal vigilance on both borders, but if you want to scarify a government, take a closer look at Mexico's without your blinders; maybe you'll notice the corruption among Mexican officials - both in law enforcement and government, something not as widely reputed among our Northern neighbor.

Also, it isn't Canada running her poorer citizens across her borders in search for a better life because of a failed socialist system.

Canada and Mexico are in no way comparable.

Nice story! ...but urban myth.

Snopes leave out one thing - the Continentals didn't use the word "Union" until later.

That's what I worry about, not this loose nuke garbage. Think of a Chechen-style attack on an auditorium here in the States. Or hostage-taking at a daycare center, school, etc. I wonder how difficult it would be to smuggle in RPGs or mortars. Can you imagine a regular SUV driving near the White House or Congress and a guy pops out with an RPG? The media would go wild.
