I'm thinking that Millers going to jail is more of an attention getting ploy to inflate this situation far beyond what it deserves.
There was no reason for her to go to jail to protect a "source" who doesn't want protection.

There was no reason for her to go to jail to protect a "source" who doesn't want protection. You've made the assumption that Rove was her source. IF it was not Rove, the source may very well WANT her to protect.
