Suspect #3.Cooper himself. It is quite plausible that during the course of Cooper's career, that he could have stumbled upon the connection between Wilson and his wife.

Since Matthew Cooper is MR. Mandy Grunwald (and SHE is one of Hillary's best buddies), I would add the Clintons to the list of suspects.

The language of the email is ambiguous. It's possible that all Rove said was "Wilson's wife authorized the trip." The "who apparently works at the agency on wmd issues" clause could just be Cooper's own background knowledge. It isn't clear from the email.

It is quite plausible that during the course of Cooper's career, that he could have stumbled upon the connection between Wilson and his wife.

 

Actually, until the day after the Novak story, you could find this out just by Googling Joe Wilson and looking at his home page.  She's not undercover and hasn't been for years.  She's an intelligence analyst.
