"everyone says this thing is going nowhere, but it seems to command a lot of posts and replies"

It intrigues many of us because we suspect collusion between the media and anti-Bush elements within government. It also intrigues us because it is one of the more classic demonstrations of media bias and feeding-frenzies in recent years. And, paradoxically, it fascinates us that such a minor event should have acquired such magnitude in the media's eyes.

but isnt suspicion of collusion at the heart of this, no matter what side of the fence youre on? isnt there a concern over corporate bias from "the other side?"
the liberals are looking to get a grip on something, and theyre going to keep grabbing until they do.
you can call me what you will, but ideologues are fallable, no matter which side you stand on
