250 Billion is nothing. If Bush didn't spend money on all those liberal programs they are so fond of giving us like education, social services, medicare we wouldn't have a deficit.

By implementing these programs, Bush took away Kerry's social programs for the 2004 election cycle. basically Kerry had nothing to run on.

Now Bush is cutting the fat in these programs and combined with the tax cuts the deficit is now coming down. By the 2008 election cycle, the deficit will be gone.
