the white house political war room, and specifically McClellan as spokesman, stinks on just about every single issue. no surprise there.

the white house should never have given up on the Iraq/Niger connection (since its true) until they verified how the forged documents were placed into the intel stream (they were planted as a poison pill to discredit the story). that fact is totally gone from the story now - now its about this nonsense of releasing the name of a "covert" CIA agent, and the washington press corps hystrionics, and giving the idiots on the left a rallying point.

Our cries fall on deaf ears at the White House.
Apparently they would prefer to have a stumbling, fumbling hemming, hawing deer in the headlights ahhh..ahhh... family friend as a spokesman rather than someone who could enunciate the President's policies in a clear and commanding voice.
It appears as if sleeping gas and "Sally Fields, Do You Like Me " gas ? has been pumped into every room of the media operations at the WH the last six months.
