The peloton is now 6’15" behind Brochard and Sanchez. The yellow jersey, Voigt, has just been seen delivering water for his CSC team-mates in the middle of the bunch.

The peloton is being led by the Discovery Channel team. This group is now 4’30" behind the nine stage leaders with 40km to race.
16:03 - Nine Riders Lead The Stage
Jaksche’s group of seven has just caught Brochard and Sanchez. The peloton is 4’38" behind the group of nine riders at the front of the stage.
15:50 - Results Of 2nd Intermediate Sprint
The points for the sprint in Bourg-Saint-Maurice were won by:
1. Brochard (BTL) 6pts
2. Sanchez (LSW) 4pts
3. Bortolami (LAM) 2pts
The peloton past the site of the sprint with a deficit of 6’10" on the stage leader.
