I just went to your profile page & saw your hubby 'coolbreeze'.. neat. Love your pix. You daughter is a cutie. well you do have someone to take care of business.. and of course your hubby is welcome to visit w/us and hope he will to give update etc. WE are a majority of women but surely some REAL men visit, post, participate also. I think for few days after the narcotic wears off there will be big time pain... we will be praying for you Gabz.

I know, intellectually this is really no big deal in the realm of surgery, but I am such a wuss about stuff like this.

As to the narcotics wearing off, that's fine - I'll take what ever pain killer they give me for a day or 2 and then start weaning myself off them. I'm not a big med taker. Even ibuprofen, I rarely take it. I was prescribed 500mg of vicodin every 4 hours from the ER Friday night - I did that on Saturday, I took a grand total of 2 yesterday. I have taken 3 today, only becaise I banged it so bad last night and I've been having to do so much moving today, that I've had a lot of pain.
