An emergency call resulted in police coming to the George Washington Bridge. Two Yemenis were caught rafting next to it. They news is claiming that this event is unrelated to terrorism.

It was on the television broadcast on the CBS New York News, it was broadcast at 11PM. I was watching tv.

Zackly. There were probably lots of other rafters out there and the NYPD, with their bent towards racial profiling, picked on these two. I smell a civil rights lawsuit (sarcasm set to stun).

As far as I can tell it happened at night. They really whizzed through the story though and didn't make much clear. Picture speed reading by a New Yorker and that was what the broadcast was like.
