Oh, how awful.

Investigators said the unidentified victim's skull and left arm were fractured and his right eye was injured at 10 p.m. between the Kings Highway and Avenue U stations. He was taken to Lutheran Medical Center.

The train's motorman told investigators the conductor had opened the doors at the Kings Highway stop but didn't respond to signals at Avenue U.

It was unclear whether the conductor stuck his head out while the train, which runs aboveground at that point, was moving or if he was injured in another way.

Thanks for that update Vel. Hope he recovers soon and that there was no foul play involved. Your update indicates that it may have been a terrible accident.
