MASHKEL: Panjgur Rifles (PR) a wing of the Frontier Post captured a big quantity of arms and ammunition and foiled the bid of smuggling here on Tuesday. As per information on the tip off Commandant Panjgur rifles appointed raiding party to apprehend the arms and ammunition smugglers.
Raiding party signaled a land cruiser to stop but despite stopping the smugglers riding in the vehicle started firing on the PR raiding party. PR raiding party chased the vehicle that left the land cruiser in the dark place and escaped from the site.
On search raiding party of Panjgur Rifles recovered heavy arms and ammunition. After registering case investigation were started.
Man carrying explosives held near Kabul
KABUL (Pajhwok Afghan News): Security personnel Tuesday claimed arresting a youngster allegedly assigned with carrying out terrorist acts in Afghanistan.
Rapid Reaction Force Commander General Mehboob Amiri told Pajhwok Afghan News the suspect was arrested late Monday night in Lataband area, some 30 kilometres southeast of the central capital.
The alleged terrorist was traveling on a Kabul-bound coaster when security personnel apprehended him.
Identifying the boy as Sanaullah, resident of Koh-i-Safi of the northern Kapisa province, Amiri said three boxes of explosives, a wireless set, seven audiocassettes, a few notebooks, 600 afghanis and 2,500 rupees were recovered from him.
He is one of the seven people assigned and dispatched here to carry out disruptive activities on Afghan soil, the commander said without elaborating as to who had given him the evil task. With his hands tied behind his back, Sanaullah told Pajhwok Afghan News he was studying in Hasamuddin Madressah in Pakistan.

Foreigners held with arms
KABUL (Pajhwok Afghan News): Afghan National Army claimed arresting six foreign nationals along with anti-personnel mines and six AK-47 assault rifles in two provinces.
Defense Ministrys spokesman General Zahir Azemi Monday told Pajhwok Afghan News three people, Haji Gul, Said Ajax and Wachal Gul, carrying remote-controlled anti-personnel mines, were apprehended in Kumar on July 7.
In a raid in Paktia, units of the 203 Tandar army corps arrested three foreign nationals along with AK-47 assault rifles. They have no legal documents.
Without revealing nationality of the arrested people, the spokesman said probe was underway and details would be released later.
Security officials in Kandahar last week claimed they had nabbed three Pakistanis with anti-personnel mines and documents.
