They are always a prime target. IIRC, there are currently no carriers in the Persian gulf area. Air support coming from land bases.
Train safe after bomb alert
From correspondents in Paris
August 05, 2005
A FRANKFURT to Paris train was stopped and cleared of passengers in eastern France after a bomb alert but disposal experts later declared it safe, French state-run SNCF railway said today.
Passengers left the train, which was stopped about 4pm local time at Epernay station near Reims after police received a call giving the alert. Bomb disposal experts checked the train and allowed it to depart around 7pm local time, SNCF said.
The bomb alert caused disruptions to trains between Paris and eastern France. Passengers on the Frankfurt-Paris train had been transferred to another train heading for the French capital.
France has been on its second-highest level of security after the July 7 bomb attacks in London which killed at least 56 people, including four bombers.
"Unfortunately we have had a lot of bomb alerts since the London bombings and we have to take them all seriously," the SNCF spokesman said.

How could I have missed this! He wasn't wearing a vest this time! All the other times I've seen him, he's had a vest on.
yeah i didn't see a vest either. And not the regular turban, i'm not sure what the extra length is for but it's definitely not average contrasted with what i see around here and the amount of turbans.
no vest tho 'zilla. (i dont think).
I've seen no other picts of him without a vest until now.
Add that with the last time we saw Osama, in a golden color themed gown looking also healthy, there is confidence in them it appears. It's Very nerve racking. I am afraid something is on the way, that sounded like a freaking go signal to me and i dont even have the full text or video or anything.
That was the first thing I noticed. He looked very formal, very "priest" like, and it did not sit well with me at all. The piece of turban hanging down on his left side may or may not have significance, but the overall I think the clothes are a very serious indicator. He has ascended in rank in some way, and seems to indicate it by shedding the vest.
< I agree. Since I have to be away from the computer for most of the rest of today, perhaps there are some here who can do a deeper evaluation of his dress in comparison to past appearances is in order (in addition to the turban).
Hmmmmm. I'll admit to being very curious about outcome on this one.
I still think it was those pesky squirrels.
Man dressed as pilot arrested

Great googles, Ruth.
I fear I'll be lost for hours in cyberspace now....
LOL!
Or he could be saying "Osama's ______ is only this big"
Well, that's true!
Thanks so much for finding that link. I will be watching this one also (not that I'm wearing tin foil or anything - just checking all the angles). It's just such a strange coincidence. "Middle easter looking" men arrested at airport for posing as pilots just one hour before the Air France plane took off from that very airport? There hasn't been an accident like that on this aircraft in 13 years. What are the odds?

Trying to get back in the game.
Good luck. Play has become fast and furious. I'm having a hard time keeping up myself.
Oh.... and don't you just love the way the officials casually brush it off as just some megalomaniac nut case? What planet are these people on anyway?
LOL, squirrels or birds?
