Having aborted 40 million of our own children, the future hope of America now rest on the children of immigrants. And they look like they're not going to dissapoint us, despite the attempts of some idiots to deprive them of basic necessities and equal educational opportunities.

Ain't nothin' wrong with legal immigrants. They bring new blood and fresh ideas and a respect for America with them.

You really love that "we need illegals to do the jobs 40 million aborted children can't do" bit, don't you? Are you going to answer the questions I asked you in that other thread, or not?

If only they spent as much effort protecting those 40 million murdered babies as they do protecting the millions of illegals....

Of course not. Questions like that cause the quislings to flee much like a vampire shown the holy cross.

I think this writer is referring to LEGAL immigrants.
I don't think she is referring to the current crop of millions of illegal aliens who aren't assimilating but are sucking America dry.

Point taken. I'm just asking roddy to explain why he thinks the two issues are related. For one thing, just because 40 million people have been aborted in the US over the last 30+ years doesn't necessarily mean that every single one of them would be alive today AND working. It's an unproveable, and he knows it, but he keeps using it without explaining the inherent lack of logic in it. Hey, it gives him a hobby, I guess...

Heh heh. Yeah, that's one reason I keep asking. The other reason is because I'd love to see what kind of answer he comes up with. Strap in, it's gonna be an instant classic!

BTW, why your defense of roe v. wade.

"Questions like that cause the quislings to flee " Don't flatter yourself by thinking that I remember you or even know what question you are talking about.
Didn't your parents teach you the basics of common courtesy such as you inform (ping) someone when you insult them, or did they raise you to make snide remarks behind peoples' backs?
Now what is this question you claim I've dodged; why do think it's so important and why don't you know the answer?

BTW, why your defense of roe v. wade.
Because I question the connection between illegal immigration and abortion, you infer that I defend Roe v. Wade? That's quite a stretch, there.
It's funny - in my previous post, I almost mentioned that as being part of roddy's tactic: "What? You question my logic? You must be pro-abortion!" Nice tr, but try sticking to the actual topic.

The better the American economy and its education system become, the more people will flood in from the four corners of the earth. In turn, these people will be more likely than the average American to succeed economically and academically, thereby making America a more prosperous place that can support a better educational system -- which in turn makes it more attractive to future immigrants. It's a win-win cycle for all parties. Well, it's not like she takes on any tough questions, or considers the ways in which the system can break down. Apparently she's still in high school. Immigration can be a benefit to America, and often is. But the assumption that the country can solve pressing problems simply by taking in new people is one that may not hold up forever. Also, this sort of self-celebration can rub people the wrong way, even if there's some truth in it.

Until fairly recently, immigrants to this country came knowing that if they didn't work...and work hard...they and their kids would go hungry.
Today's "immigrants" know that America's Favorite Trust Fund Baby (Little Howie Dean) is eagar to open the checkbook (Uncle Sam's,not his own) as soon as they claim asylum or swim the Rio Grande.

Certainly. It's right

"Now what is this question you claim I've dodged; why do think it's so important and why don't you know the answer?"Thanks for asking.
Here it is: "Loyal American conservatives believe in defending American sovereignty, protected and secure borders, and the preservation of American culture, customs, traditions and language. These are the values of loyal American conservatives. Are they yours?"
The pro-illegal alien contingent never provide a yes or no answer. They bob & weave, stonewall and deny, mount an attack which always features the race card, or simply disappear from the thread. Amazing how consistent their behavior is on this one simple question.
How will you handle it? A simple yes or no answer is all that is required.

The "vast majority," eh? Can you give an exact number? How about a ballpark figure? Just using common knowledge that avg. American life expectancy is around 71 years for a male amd 78 for a female and that roe has been around for 32 years, one can extrapolate that the vast majority of those aborted in the last 32 years would still be living if not aborted in the womb.
Do you have any other NARAL or FAIR spin to regurgitate on this thread?

Absolutely. The article refers to immigrants "prevailing in the rigorous competition to enter America, they have proved themselves capable of overcoming both past and future adversity." The legal immigrants who wait at home and go through mountains of paperwork for their visas to enter the U.S. are the ones that have proven themselves, and certainly not those that break the law to sneak across the border ahead of the law-abiding immigrants.
