What is jihad? It'll make him uncomfortable, but if he says self improvement, then you can ask "Why does the news refer to the war as a Jihad? I don't understand."

Again, there are many different kinds of Moslems. Last week Jordan sponsored a meeting of the 4 (or is it 8) major schools of thought in Islam, but did not invite the Salafi (who we know as Wahabi, and whose ideas are behind Osama Bin Laden and Sheikh Omar).

They came to some very important agreements concerning the issuance of fatwahs ~

This is roughly equivalent to a meeting of the Pope, John Hagge, the Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem, and the Patriarch of Constantinople for the purpose of deciding on a common theme, but without the attendance of the the Identity Church (the guys into neo-nazi stuff).

The Salafi continue to be a problem.
