If anyone is going to be in the area on July 12, I hope you can help. I hate these jerks who do this to a family grieving the loss of a hero.

Is it Phelps's group that's planning the "protest"?

It didn't say specifically in the emails, but I'm sure it is. I had alerted this group when they were headed to FL from a post I saw here on FR. Today I got this email and I wanted to return the favor. These families do NOT deserve this treatment, and had I been in their shoes and my brother been the one who had died, I don't think you could have held me back from beating the pure living hell out of them.

My sentiments exactly. And if he keeps this up it won't be long. He'll get in the face of the wrong person and that'll be that.

You know one of these times the protesters are going to run head on into a large motorcycle club laying one of their own to rest who served. That could make for some real interesting news coverage.

There should be no constitutional right to protest at someones funeral, I don't care who it is and for what.

Thank you Star for this information. God, please hold our fallen Troops in your arms and bring solace to their families.
Please do not let detractors of our Soldiers fight for our freedoms get a say in our Nation's history.
We love and honor and respect all of our Troops.

We were lucky in Idaho here. I came across one of these bulletins for the death of Specialist Carrie French and contacted a good friend whose a leader of the Christian Conservative movement who I met through the Keep the Commandments Coalition. He alerted the family and let them know what was up and also worked the local media to pursuade them to come to a Gentleman's agreement not to cover the story. It got little play in the press and when it did get play, Christian Conservative leaders got a chance to respond. Bottom line is you need some local on the ground there in Kentucky with some influence.

Ok- then can I say "Dear Lord- please provide a proper welcoming committee of motorcycle bikers and good patriotic Americans to 'properly welcome' Mr. Phelps if he chooses to protest a soldier's funeral"? Would that be "wrong"? LOL

I keep praying these idiots will go away. Time to break out the email chain again.Bikes and Bagpipes drown out these jerks very well.

Here's a
News story sample of some of their latest work. I take issue with their claim that God hates fags. He might hate their activities, but he loves the sinner. This guy needs to stick his head back up his @$$. He sure as hell doesn't read from the same Bible as I do.
