Well.. you know teh game Doom3?
It has an in game editor proggy.
I was goofing with making a map for the game as first step towards making a mod for the game.
Then I got sidetracked.
And then I wandered about.
*The LadyX doth not deal with Doom -- nor with Gloom..:))*

Hey, Rus! How did it go with that TV interview on Saturday? I never did see where you posted a link to the website or where you told us how it came out. Hope it gets you into that parade! You just keep giggin' 'em!
The premise was that life is what happens while we are making other plans. We have to live each day as if it were the first and last day of our lives. Now is our time, our day, our generation. This is what we came here for. Even if it isn't what we think it ought to be. This is it. So, what are we waiting for? In other words, do it now.
Do you love someone? Tell them now. Have you told a friend that you appreciate them? Tell them now. Have you called your mother, father, sister, brother, children lately? Call them now. Do you need to ask forgiveness of someone? Ask it now. Are you angry at someone? Release it now. Have you been too busy to stop and smell the roses? Smell them now. Have you thanked the Lord for all your blessings? Thank Him now. Have you given your soul to Jesus Christ and made Him Lord of your life? Do it now.
Now is the only time that we can count on in this world. We do not know what a day will bring.
Last night about midnight I received a call from a friend from the emergency room. She and her husband were returning home from a wedding they had attended in Annapolis, Md. Seven miles from home he said his back was hurting and he needed to get out and stretch. He stopped and stepped out of the car and collapsed onto the highway. His wife flagged down a young man who helped her get him into the back of her car and she rushed him to the hospital. When I got to the hospital they were still doing CPR chest compressions. He never revived. He was gone just like that. His wife, of course, could not process what happened. I drove her home around 2;30 a.m. and stayed with her the rest of the night. Today I went with her to the funeral home to make arrangements. Wed. I will preach his funeral at my church.
Was that sermon prophetic? It would seems so. Last week I attended the funeral of a 13 day old baby who died of SIDS, and participated in the funeral of Jack's uncle. These times of multiple deaths are difficult, but they seem to happen that way. I'm sharing this to remind all of us that we truly don't know what a day will bring. Love one another.
Is this a video/computer game? I really don't know much about them but I know people love them & spend hours/days at them.
Back outside.
I can pretty much remake the game into anything I want it to be.
Heck, I can even make 'zot' part of the game if I can figure out how to do so..
It's a computer game by Id software.
Pretty cool, has some interesting possibilities.
you were more than their preacher.. you were their friend. and it does seem to be that these deaths come in threes. We need to be so strong for others often when inside we are falling apart.
What would we do without our faith ?
{{{ nan}}}
You are so right. He was my friend and I will miss him a lot. But I have to be the strong one now. Later. Have a meeting to chair tonight. Camp Meeting coming up.

Goodie! I'll look forward to it.
Nan, thank you for Post #85 - it does make one stop and think that we might not have another chance to do or say something we've been meaning to do or say.

I just love seeing what you're doing - hope you'll both have lots of time to play with them tomorrow - no themes - pretty, cute, sweet, patriotic, whatever.
Thanks for posting that, Colonial Warrior. Have read it before but never get tired of it.
