We have term limits for president, without them we would still have Bill Clinton, for life. What a horrible thought. No way, we would still have FDR propped up in the White house like Lenin.

He's 75?
Well, how much longer can his socialist rantings and personal corruption continue?

Wonder if "my friend Charlie" will be invited again to the show after this little revelation. No, but I'll bet Sean is at his little b-day party.

It was from fear of another FDR that the amendment with term limits came about. Even the dems of those days did not care for thoughts of an elected dictator for life.
FDR had proven that through the use of the treasury, you could buy and fool most of the people most of the time.

You are right on both points. Every demographic in American society have consistently supported term limits in all polls. Term limits have consistently passed, every time they appeared on the ballot.
The Supreme Court rejected term limits by a vote of 5-4. The five Justices who said limits could not be established state by state, but only on a national level, was led by Justice Ginsburg. Now, it just so happens that Ginsburg's pre-Court career was centered on legal rights for women. And women got the vote in the US because it was originally granted state by state, decades before it became national.
So, the bottom line is that Justice Ginsburg was and is a brass-plated liar and hypocrite. She declared as unconstitutional for term limits the very same process that she glorified in writing about the law on votes for women. This, therefore, is precisely the kind of "Justice" who should not be anywhere near any court, much less the Supreme Court.
Was I a little harsh? If so, I apologize to ... the people of Aruba.

This scandal will last about as long as Conyers and the turkeys last Thanksgiving.
Liberals do whatever they want and hide behind their sanctimonious screed.

"Well, how much longer can his socialist rantings and personal corruption continue?" Strom Thurmond, a Republican senator from South Carolina, died at 100 years old, and was still collecting a paycheck as a state Senator up until his 100th birthday...

She might speak for free, after all this is the same bunch that goes to those black baptist churches she campaigns in.

And .. nobody has figured out yet why this is the guy Hillary uses to spew her garbage - impeachment .. this is why .. the guy is in a safe district with nobody do oppose him. It doesn't matter what he says or does - the people in his district have been dumbed down to vote for him anyway.
