Hi ~ I wanted to let you know that my dear sister, Tammy, passed away unexpectedly on June 30th. She had gastric bypass surgery on June 27, came home from the hospital on June 29th and passed away in the early morning hours of June 30th.
I'm not exactly sure of Tammy's username (something like "texaswarriorprincess") Tammy often talked about her involvement in this site and our family felt we should notify you of her death.
We lost our Dad in October, 2004. I know Tammy shared the news w/ you of my Dad voting prior to his death. He voted from the back of an ambulance while in hospice care.
We are shocked and deeply saddened by her sudden death. She is survived by our Mom, 2 sisters, one brother, and her two daughters.
Please pray for our family.
THANK YOU for letting us know about Texasflower . . . I have no words . . . May God sustain you and your family during this extraordinarily difficult time -- I will keep you in my prayers!
She just doesn't look like a candidate for gastric bypass.
Please accept my condolences at this sad news.
I am sorry to hear of your loss and her unexpected passing. My prayers and condolences go out to you and your family and for Tammy. God Bless.
Words fail me.....the sweetest, funniest, kindest poster on the AI threads where I had the honor of "meeting" her.
My prayers for her daughters and loved ones...I'm so sorry
Geeeeez, this is awfully sad news. Everybody liked her. I'm so sorry.
Thanks for the ping bd.
The Rose Beyond the Wall
Near a shady wall a rose once grew,
Budded and blossomed in God's free light,
Watered and fed by the morning dew,
Shedding it's sweetness day and night.
As it grew and blossomed fair and tall,
Slowly rising to loftier height,
It came to a crevice in the wall
Through which there shone a beam of light.
Onward it crept with added strength
With never a thought of fear or pride,
It followed the light through the crevice's length
And unfolded itself on the other side.
The light, the dew, the broadening view
Were found the same as they were before,
And it lost itself in beauties new,
Breathing it's fragrance more and more.
Shall claim of death cause us to grieve
And make our courage faint and fall?
Nay! Let us faith and hope receive--
The rose still grows beyond the wall,
Scattering fragrance far and wide
Just as it did in days of yore,
Just as it did on the other side,
Just as it will forevermore.

Thanks Lijahsbubbe. She was much too young for this. Can't believe she's gone.
I'm just sick reading this about our sweet friend. Those pictures of her dad voting when he was so very ill and near death will remain with me always.
And we listen to people complain they had to stand in line for a little while, and this man voted in an ambulance.
She seemed like a great person, Like Your Dad..I'm so sorry
Very well said, for a "basic" non-believer.
I am so sorry to hear the news. Yes, we will say a special prayer for her soul and for those who are grieving.
Praying for your family. We will miss her!!! I so remember the photos she sent of your dad voting before he died.

Ernest, I don't know if you've read this....
Very sad news.
Prayers offered.
Very sad news.
Sorry for you loss. We had some great conversations on this board. God bless you and tammy.
I am so sorry for your loss, which is our loss too. How very tragic.
I remember reading her posts.
May she rest in peace and may God give you peace and strength to cope with her loss.
