Current conditions - Montgomery, AL -- feeder band passe through about 30-45 min ago. Heavy Rain, vivid Lightning. Now just a light drizzle, light winds, feels like a Sauna outside. Should be a few hours before the next band comes through according to the radar.
Why is it that the NE quad of a hurricane has the highest winds? I understand why it's the most destructive in terms of storm surge. That's simple. But I don't understand the mechanism that makes winds there stronger than in any other quad.
I think you got yelled at for suspicious security alerts.
