Nope, not even done deepening.. and winds haven't even quite caught up. I'm thinking we see this go to the low 930s now... not sure it will hit land at that (sure hope not). New IR frames look like the bands around the eye are expanding. Symmetry is good, only plus is the width (for now). We haven't seen a true eye wall replacement yet this evening either, if we see that - it strengthens more. I think it will hit cat5 at some point.
I hadn't thought about any eyewall replacement cycles...it is kinda amazing that this thing has deepened this much today without one...
I really hope you are wrong about it being a strong Cat 4 or a Cat 5....but I dont think you are....
