AND the facial is being supplied, gratis, by a German company!
Thanks, Germany. Lichen were eating into their faces, and this is badly needed, to prevent destruction of the delicate details, like eyelids, etc.

The President with Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin. (For a Canadian Leftist, you're not half bad. At least you don't give me heartburn like your predecessor.)
The President with the head of the African Union Commission Alpha Oumar Konare. (Kofi, who?!)
With Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi. (So let's talk a little baseball, Juni.)

A tribute to Tony Blair. Yes, as a Labour PM, he's Left of center. If I were British, I'd not agree with many of his policies. However, like our President Bush, Tony Blair has been a rock in the global war against the jihadists. He is brave, steadfast and at least as regards the war, totally admirable.

People view the floral tributes left outside Kings Cross Station in London, Saturday, July 9, 2005, as they pay their respects following Thursday's bombings. King's Cross station is near the site of the deadliest of the three subway bombings, where at least 21 people were killed. Prime Minister Tony Blair said Saturday that links to al-Qaida were likely, but it was not yet clear who was behind the devastating blasts that shook London.
The people of Madrid may be with the people of London, but the fact that the Socialist PM of Spain turned tail and ran just helped to embolden the terrorists.

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi's nation was threatened by the jihadists who claimed responsibility for the London bombings. This is his answer.

The expressions on all their faces speak volumes. However, there are only two men in this photo I would trust with my life and security.

Is there any way you can keep me out of jail, George? It wasn't me. I didn't steal all that money. It was my son and my trusted top aides. I didn't know a thing about it. Honest, George. Honest...maybe if I get a UN resolution condeming terrorism passed. Whaddya say? Huh, George, huh?!

Hi, Wolfstar! Thanks for the dose!
I thought the same thing about 2009, the next president of the United States and the continuing fight. I was digesting the news about what happened in London, and that sobering thought popped into my mind.

First Lady Laura Bush waves as she boards her plane at Prestwick airport in Scotland beginning her week-long trip to Africa, Friday, July 8, 2005. Laura and Jenna will travel to Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania and Rwanda. (Jenna could use a haircut.)
Laura and Jenna arrive in Gaborone, Botswana, Saturday, July 9, 2005. This was the only photo of her trip on Yahoo so far today. On Sunday's update, I'll post any others that may appear.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrives at Beijing's airport Saturday, July 9, 2005. Flying to Beijing to start a six-day Asian tour, Rice said on Friday President George W. Bush had set no deadline for reviving the talks, which include the two Koreas, China, Japan, Russia and the United States and which have been stalled since last June.
