I support Alberta becoming a sovereign nation. I do not support any of Canada becoming a part of the United States. (We have too many socialists here already.) But for Alberta to become an independent nation would be a sign of hope from the north and a sign that there are at least some people up there who care about their own future enough to actually take action.

We must now face the fact that the old Canada is gone forever and the new Canada is disgusting.

What took so long to figure this out?

Sorry folks....I live in Calgary and am absolutely cynical about this so called Paradise which is Alberta.

Pharaoh Ralph Klien is on the TV with suffering cattleman in the background.
Last week it was some disabled guy getting lashed by Khufu.
That matters to me....as I worked 2 plus decades in the oil patch fabbing facilities world wide for American consortiums.
was also a rescue first aid....sending droves of workers to hospital with melted eyeballs...and mangled body parts.

Their must be a Million Insurance Brokers in Calgary.
so what is that....a prosperity margin sign....or numeric of indentured servants?

Its wild west out here for sure.
mainstreet and stareing crowds.

The quick and the dead.

I'm debt free now...and exploring options of bugging out from here.
Alberta has great weather and beautifull landscape.

it also has the blood sucking Insurance cartell.
and the blood sucking bank.
with sleazy realtors darting back and forth.

some kind of living machine I think.....surely a Frankenstien with 4/40 speed.

and Pharaoh Klien who will definitely show up to hear your grievance......if you have a barbeque.

Its the same same racket elsewhere in Canada.

only difference is.... Alberta has better weather.

We can trade them Rhode Island for Alberta.

No way I could tolerate Alberta joining the US. Utah is the only serious competitor Nebraska has for the title of 'reddest red state'. If we let Alberta in, they'd win every time.

I can only think of two "democracies" that are closer to totalitarianism than Canada - the false republic called France and the enemy of free speech Italy.

Go Alberta! Klein is my hero today. First he says he will make sure Alberta passes laws to protect churches from gay retribution. Secondly, we has opened Alberta up to a private healthcare system. The public system will continue, but the rich (or those willing to make sacrifices) will have the right to pay for extra medical services. Which is what they do anyways when they travel south of the border.
