If it was the kitchen that went up in flames, and provided no one got hurt, it was no great loss.

Perhaps a French tourist was upset with the cuisine!! :)

If the ducting is involved, it's probably a grease fire.
Noisy, smelly, smoky, and usually not dangerous to life or limb.
Hopefully everybody got out O.K. and the fire brigade members won't get hurt putting it out. Otherwise, as you say, no great loss.

Is this the Hard Rock Casino between Piccadilly Circus & Leicester Square?
To: MadIvan
Yeah, I went to one here and it was too loud and the food was nothing to brag about. I haven't been back.

You, sir, will change your tune when you get a hankerin' for a 35£ cheeseburger and a 25£ budweiser.

I remember eating there years ago. I lost a filling eating a chicken salad. Never could figure out how I did that. As luck would have it, our neighbor in LA had a cousin in London that was married to a dentist.

We visited (once) in LV. What a colossal waste of time and mediocre McDonald's fare to boot.
