They should take into account that the owners 'fear for his life' was already engaged. I doubt that people can turn that off immediately just because the person aiming a gun to your head has turned. When a criminal puts a person on the defensive they will pay the price.

Bull Hocky ! .....it said POS was walking away as Store Clerk pulled his firearm . It didn't say he shot the guy in the back....the presstitute was suggesting such in the story but I don't see it in the thread. I suspect as the clerk wasn't arrested it was a rightous shoot ....

IIRC, for a brief time in the 60s Dallas police would sit with shotguns in the back of likely-target convenience stores. Armed robbers walked in but didn't walk out, and convenience store robberies screached to a halt. Now we're talking'!
