You dont have to be super-smart to come up with a prediction like this.

Any freeper could have said the same thing.

Of course they want to attack us. I look for the attack in Wisconsin. If I am right do I become the new Nostradamus?

I don't normally watch it, but I had fallen asleep with the channel on, and awoke to this offensive junk. And of course, the obliging emails from ordinary people who seemed to confirm that yes, all one terrorist has to do is blow up one Mall in rural America, and America is over. Crazy talk, for the reason I stated, IMO.

Let's face it; we will suffer X amount of attacks until we have no choice but to become brutal. That means when the Dem/Libs get with the program.

I am going out on a limb here but I suspect more midwesterners will be killed by tornados than terrorists.

Let me repeat: it solves nothing and it helps the terrorists.

You're right.

And I saw someone on another news net this morning who made a very good point: that the public needs to do more to protect itself. That people need to keep their eyes open, be vigilant, and report things they see that cause concern.

Assuming that there is anything at all to this story- we take a page from London's playbook: move the debris out of the way and go back to work the next day.

Sort of defeats the whole purpose of the bombings, doesn't it?

You are correct about the need for the public to be vigilant. I have noticed, however, that when the President or any official suggests the importance of this, they are almost always hooted at and attacked by the Media for making the suggestion. People start screaming at them, well, what are we supposed to do? How do we know what to do, you haven't told us. I thought you said to go about our normal lives, but now you say we must be vigilant? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT??? And so on and so on.

Ford Prefect also recommended having a towel while one travels around.

Look up the nearest FBI phone number and put it in your cell phone.

I have.

I would try to take out all of the bridges across the Mississippi simultaneously.

Well, I don't have any actual numbers, but I'd have to believe that there are a whole BUTTLOAD of bridges crossing the Mississippi. Hitting all of them simultaneously would be quite a trick.

I read your mind :) I've got every branch of LE, fire, and ambulance numbers listed. I've written mine down, though. Just in case.

GWB poll numbers are below 50 percent and support for the Iraqi war has fallen. An attack now would boost US support for GWB and his policies in Iraq. Personally I would leave the US alone and let the Democrats undermind the US will to fight.

These guys aren't the brightests bulbs. The same situation existsed in Britain, and they attacked there. Of course, we have yet to see if the attacks steeled the nerves of the Brits, or has had the "Madrid Effect" on them.

They're going to try to hit rural America,"

Middle East/Muslim terrorists prefer to operate out of big cities because they can blend in better amongst all the ethnics there.

Terrorists would be more likely to stand out in small Midwestern towns, even though the populations in those towns are changing rapidly.

"If your gut feeling tells you when you walk on to a bus there is something unusual or suspicious, get out and walk away."

EVERY SINGLE TIME I've taken a Greyhound I've seen plenty of "unusual." I've encountered enough Greyhound "unusuals" to write a book. What do you look for when "unusual" is the norm? A normal person?
