I think he should forfeit his life for the lives he has destroyed. I'm sure he would agree by the sounds of his letters. But, this whole situation is heartbreaking. On the one hand there are innocent people who were preyed upon and on the other hand there is the pathetic, pitiful human being who was destroyed earlier in his life. We need to also look beyond just the immediate devastation and look also at what drove this man to do this. It is probably a story that would also break our hearts.

Many people have inner demons form childhood molestation, rape etc. They don't do what this bastard did. He needs to be terminated. Executed. It's absurd to have the taxpayers on the hook for this man's meals and lodging. His race is run. Recycle him and hope for a better result next time.

Yes, I agree. I guess this 1300 yr sentence appeals to Liberal sensibilities. It doesn't to the rest of us.

He thinks getting moved out of state will save him? The first thing prisoners do is find out what you are in for, including details. And if you lie about it, keep it A secret or there is some sort of strange activity around your incarceration, they will assume you are either a snitch or in for some crime they don't approve of.

Unless he gets protective custody, his decision could have been the signing of his own death warrant.
