Well it's California, what were they thinking arresting him? Gay sex with a minor should get him transferred to San Francisco and made a staff officer. The city near where I live has had that problem for years. They either aren't permitted (thanks to law enforcement union rules) to run background checks, or if they do and the checks show something negative, the cities are forced to take these candidates anyway, thanks to affirmative action and all those civil rights do-gooders out there.

Of course I would. If a chickenhawk abused my son, I'd want the creep dead. What difference does calling him a "pedophile" make? A 12-year-old boy is an adolescent (almost always) not a child. It's simply a matter of definition.

You want, by implication, to say all homosexuals practice pedophilia. There are two groups of people who in many cases may overlap. In this case, it appears the cop is homosexual (his sexual preference) and a pedophile (interested in 12 year olds).

You want to define the crime commited on the victim, by looking at the preditors sexual preference, that is nuts. If it was a 12 year old girl, would he be a pedophile?
