Is Scotland Yard playing political corre[c]tness? We must not offend Muslims for advocating suicide bombers to kill civilians because they are just one of the stripes in the multicultural rainbow.

I don't think the Yard is quite that far gone yet, but if the George Galloways and the Ken Livingstones had their druthers, it would be.

One of the things the CIA was doing before 9/11 was making diversity quilts. FreeRepublic. How much time was wasted on this bunk of being hypersensitive to ethnicity rather than devoting resources to gathering intelligence on Islamic terrorists? I would be very surprised if Scotland Yard isn't plagued by the same superficial thinking. This nonsense makes it difficult for the truly dedicated to do serious work.

Sir Ian Blair, the new head of Scotland Yard, is more PC than either Galloway, or Livingstone.

I know that sounds impossible but it's true.

They had a silly Logo. Saying something like "Scotland Yard working for you", which was in a handwritten style and was on their vehicles, paper, everything etc. The 1st thing he did was have it changed to a printed style, as quote "the visualy impaired, might have difficulty reading it".

You can imagine the cost, of changing all of that.

He is a PC nightmare and was already a PC joke to Londoners, which has now turned dangerous.
