In mid-16th century, about 1540, IIRC, one Pavan from Abbeville was given the thermal treatment for abusing the consecrated host.
There's more than just a beating at work there... theres a beating combined with somebody who gives a sh!t and believes in the puke.
I'm so brilliant, I used to not understand why communion on the tongue and not in the hand was so important and then it hit me -- to make sure it goes where it's supposed to go! duh!
Same thing happened at a local Taco Bell. 4 police cars were outside the place. Only the employees weren't urinating in it (blech).
