Seek a SIXTH (6th) term?!
That means he has been in the Senate for 30 freaking years and wants stay for at least 6 more. I guess the day of the citizen legislator is long since gone, if it ever was. If I lived in Indiana, I would vote ABL. That's anyone but Lugar.

Eh, it's good I guess. He's the only Dem that even had a chance in hell of winning.
But at the same time, had he run, he still would have lost, and it would have hurt him if he had wanted to run in the future.
I think he might challenge Daniels in '08.
