That's terrible -- wonder where the 8th Circuit Court is at -- usually it is the 9th Circuit with dumb rulings.

Republicans in the Senate better get ready because the nominations headed their way for SCOTUS are going to be conservative and they had better be prepared to back the President. Time to get activist off the Courts!

"I think they should have term limits."

Hmmm...a certain number of years? 'Til they reach a certain age, say 70 or so? 18 years or 70, which ever comes first?

So how about our Senators and Representatives in the House? Term limits? 2 terms for Senators; 6 terms for Congressmen? Or maybe a combo limit of 18 years max, whether served in the House or in the Senate?

How about this...any Senator elected President is limited to ONE term as President...and no former President may be appointed to the Supreme Court...

:)

Bush is the most conservative president we have had this century not even Reagan was more so.

Anyone who would create Homeland Security and the Patriot Act is not a conservative. The one is the largest homage to big government ever created and it has created an agency mostly without a mission - as is clear to anyone who spends any time watching them. Like even Bush has said, we are fighting over their so we don't have to fight them here. That is the job of DoD and CIA.

The 8th District is up around Wisconsin. Explains a lot.

I am sorry I misjudged your age but that makes your comments even less appealing.

I know nothing of appeasement. Appeasement is not rejecting the most radical and hysterical prescriptions based mainly on inappropriate interpretations.

It is hard to see why you are so negative about the political situation when conservatives are gaining more and more power and influence. You act as though we are on our last legs and are about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. 95% of your worries are groundless. We have a fine, moral man in the White House and there is no need to act as though it is Clinton.

I stand by my metaphors and must say they provoked you into even more desperate rhetoric. Not really worthy of you.

I know of no "perfect" potential nominees and all probably have controversial and/or complex decisions in their careers which could lead those so inclined to believe they are capable of or likely to sell out conservatism. The reactions are mostly to caricatures.

RAT plots to split the Right are not a product of my imagination. We are notorious for the circular firing squad ready to purge the ideologically impure.

I never said our man in the WH was anything like Clinton, or even suggested that he was not "fine" and moral.

Beyond that, I know this for certain: We can agree on this:

We have agreed to disagree.

Neither of those programs are anti-Conservative. Sticking your head in the sand and pretending that the killers aren't after us is not a conservative position. Both were necessary whether you like them or not. Nor does pretending that we can ONLY fight them over there change this fact.

I never agree to disagree but if you no longer want to discuss it that is fine too.
