News of the London attacks has brought back terrible memories of Madrid's commuter train bombings last year.
On 11 March 2004, 10 bombs exploded on board four packed commuter trains, killing 191 people and injuring more than 1,800.
In one of the targeted stations, Atocha, people expressed their solidarity with London as news of the attacks reached them.

I agree with you. Rewarding this kind of behavior encourages it. I also remember the Phillipines, who removed their troops to get a hostage released. I feel for that man, but I wonder how he feels when others are taken hostage.
with a friend like that who needs enemies?
the real kiss of death for the Londoners is if the democrat party comes out and says we're with you
How do you respond to Muslims who kill innocent people with impunity, embrace a 15th century tent culture, contribute nothing to charity, human advancement in medicine, technology, or the arts and provide no worthwhile target for military response?
Less than 12 hours after the Madrid bombing, huge crowds began appearing in the streets of Madrid. The MSM at first, thought they were just mourning the dead.
I thought to myself... why would they all be carrying signs that read PAZ? Then I REALLY looked at the individuals... they were all CHEESE-EATING SURRENDER MONKEYS!
So they're sending their troops back to Iraq?
You kill them , kill'em all .. .. ..
How nice for Vichy, er Spain. Sorry, capitulation is a Continental thing, not something to be found in the Isles..
You shun them on every level.Start with your muslim neighbors and boycott their stores. And you don't start muslim with a capital letter.Little m very little.
Spaniards don't get it. Hopefully, the British do. For decades, even generations, hundreds of millions have been suffering under the worst oppression by dictatorships like the Taliban, Saddam Hussein's regime, the Iranian Mullahs, and Ba'athists in Syria. Combined with centuries old fanatic Jihadism, which resembles a radical occult, a murderous movement against "the infidels" has emerged. THAT is the cause of terrorism. Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom are part of the precisely correct strategy to end this terrorist threat. Spain bailed out on the real war against terrorism, and it is a shame.
ROFLMAO, Madrid couldn't STAND FIRM when they were attacked, how can they say they will STAND FIRM with London now?
