- Republicans against: Aanestad, Campbell, Margett, McClintock. Total: 4.

Assembly (64-13)

- Republicans against: Blakeslee, Daucher, Harman, Haynes, Huff, La Suer, Maze, Mountjoy, Plescia, Strickland, Tran, Walters, Wyland. Total: 13.

Now for the Hall of Shame candidates:

- (Assembly) Republicans for: Aghazarian, Benoit, Bogh, Cogdill, DeVore, Emmerson, Garcia, S. Horton, Houston, Keene, La Malfa, Leslie, McCarthy, Nakanishi, Niello, Richman, Runner, Spitzer, Villines. Total: 19.

That's almost 30% of the YES votes. Don't you just love liberals, regardless of party registration.

I can understand Republicans wanting to back their Governor. That's a legitimate thing to do. At least this budget doesn't raise taxes and gives the Governor back the authority to make mid-year budget corrections. I don't view this as something to be entirely happy about. (Although it is a step in the right direction.) We still have a lot of work to get our state finances in order.

They deserve our support. The rest should be sent a strong message voicing disappointment.

My understanding is that the latter is incorrect.
